Bab 146: Thank

According to the spirit, Aru had been falling into a ravine filled with crazed beasts. If it hadn't used its powers to bring him to the temple, he would have died the moment he hit the ground.

"Then, can you help me leave this place? If you could bring me here, you should be able to help me leave, right?"

Aru couldn't complain about what the spirit had done. He knew his chances of survival were slim when he decided to jump off the cliff.

If the fall didn't kill him, the beasts below would have.

It was the riskiest bet of his life.

Fortunately, the spirit noticed and saved him, even healing his wound. So, he really couldn't complain.

But he still asked if it could help him leave.

"That would be impossible."

The spirit's answer was immediate and direct, leaving no room for misunderstandings.

"Why?"
