After a moment's hesitation, Lu Zhanbei's slightly furrowed brows suddenly relaxed, and the cold sharpness that radiated from his black eyes alone was enough to drop the temperature inside the car to freezing point.

Then, with a long stride, he got out of the car, still cradling the figure in his arms.

As soon as he had arranged the room, he secured the girl tightly in his arms, not uttering a single word, and headed straight for the bathroom.

Depositing her in the bathtub for the second time, Lu Zhanbei let out a weary sigh.

He wasn't sure if his decision was right, but seeing her distress, he was actually feeling even worse than she was.

He held her down and once again resorted to dousing her with cold water.
