Chapter 56: Not A Puppet
The sisters looked at each other, their bond deepening. Each one of them said the name of the other. If left, this discussion and argument could end up going on for centuries altogether. Bozo couldn't let that happen.
"We won't get to the answer this way. Ha... fine, I'll be the one to choose. No complaints, right?" As Bozo said this, everyone shook their heads in agreement. Of course, Mishi, their mom, still wanted both her children to be healed. Just imagining the sadness and pain of the other made her heart break.
Bozo, nonchalantly, pointed his index finger at one of them: Naya. Her eyes widened with happiness for a moment, but that was short-lived. Instantly, she turned to her left where Kaya sat.
'No, it should be Kaya...', she wanted to say, but weirdly enough, she couldn't bring herself to do that.
Kaya, a bit calmer, raised her lowered head with much difficulty and gave a small smile, "I'm happy for you, Naya."
