Bab 253: Perdita Anima

Lucien stepped inside the house. It was simple, consisting of a single room with a kitchen connected to a small living area that held only a table and two chairs.

The kitchen looked unused; there were no plates or utensils in sight, probably to prevent Jenna from trying to harm herself.

Lucien had never cared much for that woman, the woman who had caused problems in the village. If it weren't for her and the bandits, Euclair might have known peace.

He had heard Jenna had fallen into such deep depression that she was barely aware of her surroundings.

Although she was technically alive and conscious, she was utterly unresponsive to everything around her.

Even if there was a fire in the house, she likely wouldn't react. That's why Seren and Amanda took turns caring for her and cleaning up.

Seren approached the bedroom door and stepped inside, with Lucien and Tritons following close behind.
