Bab 239: Cassius Story: Cutting Ties

Cassius held a small handgun, his eyes locked onto one of the many items in front of him: a box of ramen.

The crowds around him faded into the background; even the sound of balloons popping couldn't break his focus.

He needed that ramen.

After a moment of steadying his aim, he pulled the trigger and hit the small number on the shelf that matched the one on the box of ramen.

The stallkeeper rang a bell, "Congratulations! This box of ramen is all yours!" He handed the box to Cassius.

"Yay!!! We can eat ramen today!!!" Cassius lifted the box proudly, jumping with joy. Seren joined in, hopping slightly beside his father, while Lucien smiled at their excitement. At least they had something to eat today.
