Bab 117: Fire Element

Lucien stood up, retrieving his forgotten staff from near the tree. He began channeling his mana into his hand, chanting, "Ignis murus."

The mana flowed into his staff, and a magic circle appeared before him. A wall of fire, about four meters tall, rose up.

The fire was blue, likely due to the buff from the staff he was using since he had only transferred a small amount of mana.

"I should have done this a long time ago," Lucien marveled at the sight. The blue flames were mesmerizing, especially as the night began to fall.

After the endurance training, channeling his mana felt natural, and with the aid of his overpowered staff, he felt like a formidable mage.

Lucien now understood why Seren loved playing a game with magic in it; the display of the fire was undeniably cool.

Brigantiea tapped his back, "Not bad for a first-timer," she praised him. "Now, try making a black fire in your own way."
