Nian Bing normally preferred to keep his identity hidden, but it was a helpful option in minimizing trouble. He responded calmly with a smile, pointing to the unconscious middle-aged man on the ground, "If you don't want him to die, take him away."

The guard captain gave a signal to his subordinates who quickly carried the unconscious man away. Confusion in his eyes, he asked Nian Bing, "Mister Mage, as a member of our National Mage's Guild, can you please show your credentials?"

Nian Bing frowned slightly, asking, "Is that necessary?"

Glancing at the Ghost Carving held between Nian Bing's fingers, the guard captain nodded, "I believe it's necessary, I must provide an explanation to our Mercenary Guild."
