"Elders, could I have a word?" Ji Dong's voice resonated far and wide, like the tolling of a bell, ringing in the ears of every Forest Demon.

The Chief Elder, Odom, raised a hand, halting the approaching Forest Demons in their tracks as he addressed the duo in a deep voice, "Please speak."

Ji Dong replied with a casual smile, "I understand your concerns and your resentment towards humans. But as I've mentioned earlier, not all humans are evil. Flame and I are passing through here en route to the Central Earth Empire. We've heard of the famed Origin of Life and wanted to buy some to taste whilst passing the Forest of Life."

No sooner had he spoken than the rugged Forest Demon Elder Gars interjected, "Just as I thought, you're here for the Origin of Life."

Suddenly, Ji Dong's eyes turned icy and he bestowed upon the demon a cold, dismissive glance. Gars shivered and whitened, unable to utter a single word.
