She struggled to get up, wanting to moisten her throat with a glass of water.

The screams continued to ring out.

Tang Yun Ze was awoken by her screams, his handsome face stunned for a few seconds before becoming incredibly flustered.

Ye Xue Ning clutched the blanket and glared at him, her eyes full of fear.

"I don't know." Tang Yun Ze gazed at her innocently, but when his gaze landed on the bloodstain on the bed sheet, his face changed colour.

"Why did this happen, why did this happen..."

Ye Xue Ning mumbled to herself. Her mind was in a mess - she had no idea what to do.

"I... I... I..."

Tang Yun Ze stammered, he didn't know what to do either.

"Nothing happened between us. This was just a dream."
