Bab 7: Beautiful things doesn't last long

For weeks, they shared laughter and love, secrets and songs, dreams and fears. They grew closer than ever, the sisters and the bird, in a bond that was as delicate as it was dazzling.

The sun shone brightly, but its warmth did not reach their hearts. They packed their bags in silence, avoiding each other's eyes. Their mother watched them with a pang of sorrow, and gave her husband a look that said it all. They remembered what it was like to be young and hopeful, to face the world with wonder and awe. And they knew how cruel it could be, how it could shatter your dreams in an instant.

They sat around the table, picking at their food, feeling the weight of the unspoken grief that hung over them like a dark cloud.

Grandmother sensed their distress, and spoke softly. "What ails you, my loves? Don't keep it inside; let us hear your troubles. Maybe we can help you, with our old and wrinkled wisdom."
