Bab 15: Ventus's Lost Son
Arthur opened his eyes and noticed that he was in an unfamiliar room.
'I think I passed out while sparing the Instructor, I wonder who carried me here?'
"You're awake finally."
Arthur turned his neck to the familiar voice to see Professor Ventus standing there.
"Yeah, how long was I unconscious for and who carried me here?"
Arthur asked pretty curious.
"You were out for an hour, it seems you completely drained your mana and physical abilities but you passed out from mental exhaustion, the head healer is why you woke up so quickly she has a physical and mental healing twist. The person who carried you was Instructor Lupus."
"I see."
"The reason I'm here is to talk to you about something important, are you well enough to talk now or should I postpone this."
"Now is fine."
"Alright Arthur I talked with Father and Mother and they agreed to adopt you as an official collateral of the Ventus ducal, a fake father is set up also. What do you think?"
"What's the condition I doubt the family would just accept me because I'm a commoner with Aerokinesis."
"Well the house sees get potential in you, and it's almost certain that you have some of the Ventus family blood in you, we just don't know who you're direct parent is. You have any clue?"
"No I was an orphan since birth. If I do agree to get adopted what would the procedure look like."
"Well it's more so just legal documents we have to sign and you have to sign and then that's it."
"Do I have to fulfill any responsibility or listen to orders?"
"Well you're responsibility would be to grow as well as possible which would increase the house's standing among the ducal, and it would be best to act as if you are from the Ventus ducal and act with dignity, but the duke and duchess deiced not to put any real responsibility on you."
"Well okay, I can act arrogant and pompous, let me know what I should sign and just send it to me."
"Haa I can imagine you're going to be handful now."
Victoria said, while sighing but she didn't hate that they would be family, she always felt like he was a Ventus.
Arthur got up and opened the door to leave before he looked back at Victoria Ventus and locked eyes with her.
"See you next time Aunt Victoria."
He said teasingly before leaving.
Victoria was there speechless. Before smiling.
"Surprisingly he had a mischievous side."
