Where it had come from Kruxe didn't not know, but was its presence a welcome surprise, yes.

Though pirates were a lot more brutal and vicious than soldiers, they were also less meticulous and dedicated than soldiers.

If the military were to step on this ship, Kruxe could imagine the thorough search they would perform on it, and with their numerous numbers, the chances that they would find him would drastically increase.

"Unlike the military who would be looking for answers as to why the ship is full of dead bodies, the pirates would just get spooked by his, look around for treasure and then leave the ship as fast as possible, thinking about the take they could fabricate with this."
