Bab 96: Hosting a Welcome Party

"But can you still manage to attend classes like this?" Sarah Wilson asked, her voice laced with exhaustion as she gently massaged her legs. 

Returning with Avery required her to not only support Avery but also carry two bags of takeout, utterly draining her energy.

"It's fine, it's actually perfect timing for my baby's prenatal education!" Avery Miller declared with unabashed confidence.

Sarah Wilson, however, was less convinced. Given Avery Miller's current cautious demeanor, she suspected Avery might struggle with attending classes as usual.

"Shouldn't you all throw a welcome party for me first?" Ella Jackson suddenly interjected, feeling overlooked by her roommates from the moment she arrived. She expressed how hurt she felt by their negligence.

"Uh..." The three of them fell into an awkward silence.
