"Am I Lost?

Why is the door closed?

I had given her a jewel of happiness,

Where is my pearl?"

Waqas's POV

I have always wandered my whole life in search of pearl-serene; a jewel of happiness. But, one should know that he cannot find it until he solves the doodle going on in his head. I was a lost story and she was the only one to read me. Instead of giving the favour back I turn the pages of her present and hurt her.

Now, that she is in front of me with so pale and dried features, with sunken and hollow cheeks; I regret playing with her feelings. Half of the things she don't know about me, not because she never she asked because I didn't want her to know. But still, she was always there for me.
