Bab 52: Unmatched

The young man whose name was Treius stood boldly before Valeron with an air of arrogance about him.

”I do not see any knights in service of your clan in this hall, do you intend to face me yourself.”

Shaking his head as he chuckled, Valeron stepped aside to allow Theseus walk forward. Wearing a simple coat on a white shirt, he looked nothing like warrior, he had more of a scholarly air around him.

”You would insult my station with this travesty. An old man to face me in a duel.”

Turning to Theseus, he continued;

”You must have angered your master for him to send you to your death, or does every knight in Skyfall see how useless you are and avoids your clan.”

Valeron continued smiling, though it had gotten considerably colder. Turning to Theseus, he spoke;

”I had planned to let him die quickly since it’s not his fault he serves a stupid master. But I think he should die in agony!”

”Yes Sire.”

King Hector watched this unfold before him without a word.
