Bab 93: Shadow Strike

I opened my eyes and the sunlight blinded me.

I have just started to test if my shadow mana could block the sunlight, preventing my Heliophobia traits from acting up, and it worked, but the consumption was too much.

Furthermore, the additional effect of the Ring of Shadow Embrace did not take effect due to the lack of shadows and their quality due to the brightness of the sunlight.

"At most, I can only let my skin be hit by the sunlight for five minutes before I run out of shadow mana," I mumbled as I concluded.

Hence, I put on my hat, which I prepared beforehand, extended my sleeves, and put up the gloves.

Now, the shadow mana could be all around my skin to prevent the sunlight, which was absorbed by my clothes due to its color – black – from escalating the Heliophobia traits.

At most, I felt uncomfortable, compared to before, when I tried it, making me really feel nauseous and even dizzy.
