Emily scoffed as she read the article again, her eyes scanning the headline multiple times to make sure she wasn't imagining things.

"Ember Stark to join Nova models soon. She is rising up from the ashes."

Emily scoffed once more, her eyes narrowing in anger. Who does Ember think she is, rising up from ashes? More like trying to find a way to get back at Aurora.

Emily was boiling with rage. The thought that Ember would probably get more gigs than her was infuriating. She had seen this play out before. Ava Luilini, the enigmatic owner of Nova Models, was obsessed with Aurora. Some even speculated she had a crush on Aurora.

She always made sure to include Nova in whatever competition Luxe would be in. But only the insiders know that if not for Nova, Aurora would not be in the most popular model in the world right now.
