Bab 419: The Twins

In the vast expanse of the blue sky, a giant bird-like creature resembling a crow spread its wings, soaring through the air as if it were the ruler of the skies. Its body was as large as a young bull, and its wingspan was even wider than that of a mighty eagle. It flew with an arrogant, prideful expression, opening its beak and letting out a thunderous cry that sent fear through the smaller creatures below.

Within a radius of four kilometers from this point, this giant crow was the ruler of the skies. It dominated the entire aerial territory, and no other winged beasts dared to challenge it. Even though there were more powerful creatures in the forest below, such as the two-headed wolf and the scorpion-tailed lion, up in the sky, this crow was confident that no one could surpass it.

Its glossy black eyes scanned the ground below, searching for prey like a customer picking food. It was the apex predator, with nothing to fear—or so it thought, until...

"Get out of the way!"
