Bab 344: Maria’s Big News

The light of magic lamps illuminated the entire city area. The party at the palace had ended, but the city folk had yet to go to sleep. A group of men could be heard making loud noises as they sat together drinking their beer gleefully. Many women were joyfully singing and dancing together. This was the celebratory atmosphere of the Refania Kingdom. The smiles on the people’s faces could convey several meanings, and one of those meanings was that they were glad about Arias’ enthronement.

Still, it wasn’t like everyone was enjoying this atmosphere. In a dark corner stood a man, quiet and unmoving. From time to time, he would glance at the people but without paying much attention to them. It was only when he saw a woman walking straight towards him that he moved slightly while giving her a disapproving gaze.

“You shouldn’t get too carried away, Jenna. Didn’t the boss tell you not to do anything risky?”
