Bab 208: Customary Greeting

The door was slowly shut as a young man walked out of the room, one hand holding a thin book, which he was flipping through its pages with an unamused expression. With his other hand, he was holding a badge. It was a silver, circular badge with a six-pointed star on it, and around this star, there were some kind of patterns that looked like a miniature magic circle. The young man’s expression remained unchanged as he pinned the badge on his shirt before he continued to walk. ‘This badge must be a sign of my status.’ Arias thought.
