The Stone Archway

Gentle sunlight shone through grey clouds. It made the atmosphere of Bernier City look quite bleak today. The sky was not very bright, dark clouds were forming as if promising a big storm. The time was almost midday, but the light of the sun was so feeble as if it was at dawn.

At the Hargen Family’s manor, a group of youths had gathered, waiting for the exciting moment to arrive. Finally, the day had come when the gate to the Land of the Heavenly would be opened. The youths who had been qualified to enter the realm all waited in eager anticipation, their hearts beating heavily with excitement. Even the gloomy atmosphere could do nothing to dampen their enthusiasm. They all hoped to discover the treasures that lay hidden in the realm. It was an adventure which they had never experienced before, and which would surely broaden their horizons.
