Bab 43: Ch 43: The first puppet [pt1]

"That should take care of everyone here. Hey, old man, are you fine? What about everyone else?"

Elric asked as he looked back at the settlement of the local people behind him.

He and his teammates had taken care of the Phantom Troupe members who were going after the locals, but Elric did not feel satisfied.

It felt like something was missing, and Elric knew what that was.

"Ultimately, we did not find the person we were looking for. I think Soma used us to clean up this mess. What? You all knew this?"

Elric looked at his party with an awkward expression.

No one had looked at him since they realized what had happened.

Their leader had fallen into Soma's trap, but no one wanted to tell him that.

Elric had a hard temper and could get annoying when he wanted to.

"Y-You all! Say something as soon as you notice I have fallen into a trap. Don't wait around for me to find out before you respond!"
