Bab 231: Betrayed By The People He Loved

Cullen gave Osmond one final look before stepping away. 

Kylo was getting frustrated. For the moon's sake, they were supposed to be a team! 

Osmond had a wide grin on his face before he picked up the bag. "Woah. This thing is heavier than it looks." He blinked awkwardly as he strapped it to his back. 

They all watched as the older wolf walked up to the starting line alongside other representatives of each team. They positioned themselves at the line, waiting for Rhett's mark.

"One last thing." Gamma Rhett suddenly blurted, his voice stern. "For fairies, no wings or magic allowed. The same goes for elves using magic. Also, no pushing or playing rough. Anyone who breaks any of these rules shall have their whole team eliminated from the exercise."

The enlisted soldiers murmured among themselves while Kylo remained indifferent. Or at least, he tried to seem indifferent.
