Bab 100: She's in the Hospital

— Alexander POV —

I was in a foul mood and everyone knew it.

My wife basically told me that I could screw any woman I wanted and she wouldn't give a fuck.

It was most men's dream, but it wasn't mine.

I wanted Lilith and Lilith alone. 

It wasn't for the lack of trying, in the years she had been gone I had tried to date other women. If I hadn't then there wouldn't have been articles and photos of me with the richest and prettiest women around.

But try as I might none of them captivated me the way Lilith had.

'Let her go, Alexander,' Lex had told me one day after a date had gone horribly wrong and I shouted at the woman. 'Lili is married, she chose that man over everything she knew and loved.'

'No, no one feels right!' I had shouted at my friend. 'Some are too dull, others too stupid, some girls' laugh irritates me, while other can talk of nothing but themselves.'
