"Huh? What the hell happened?" Levi asked, the separation was too sudden.

"If I may sire, I don't think his body is ready yet to take on that much power. He needs to get used to it first."

"I see, so they will need to do this a lot of times. Kinda like us?"

Sure enough, Conor and his beast tried to fuse once again. The beast seemed to be cooperative seeing the two watching over them, he didn't like it but every Sin, beast, being in Ancieru bowed to the strong.

The kid he was fusing with was nothing to him, even the kid beyond the line he wasn't scared of, it was the thing that was closely attached to him that scared him more than anything. So he tucked his tail and did what was asked of him.
