Bab 159: The Offering

Levi could feel all every ounce of his energy leave his body upon writing the inscription, his body went completely rigid like he was frozen and fell on his back.

He had a cheeky smile on his face as he looked at Mephistopheles going absolutely ballistic inside the cube prison he placed him in. It was a long shot Levi didn't think it was going to work but it did and he was feeling the consequences of it all.

When he realised that he couldn't win on a one on one he planned to trap the statue instead. He knew getting beaten up that badly would eventually make Mephistopheles conceited and he'd lower his guard thinking he had him backed in a corner.

'Nobody must've told him the most dangerous animals are wounded ones that are backed in corner." He thought to himself proudly.

[I'm impressed master, great job. You managed to hide your intentions even from me, should I be concerned?]

Levi ignored her.
