Bab 11: 11
After my training session with Ororo, I went to my room and laid down on my bed as I thought of the future. I have about 12 years before the Battle of New York and the establishment of the Avengers, so until then, I hope I can grow stronger.
A little bit later, I was in the Danger Room with Logan and Scott, dressed in our X-Men uniforms.
"Alright, bubs, we're gonna begin survival training," Wolverine explained as he looked at us. "Your objective will be to survive the onslaught of attacks happening to you with no use of your powers."
"Are you serious!" Scott exclaimed.
"As many times as he's done this, you're still surprised?" I asked him in a rhetorical way.
"Alright, let's begin. Danger Room, initiate X-15 survival training," Wolverine called out to the Danger Room's A.I.
[Initiating command!]
Different weapon machines started sprouting out of the floor and walls of the Danger Room.
[Quest Issued: Survive the Survival
Survive Wolverine's deadly training session that has been tampered with.
Rewards: 1 level ups]
Finally!! A quest, but what does it mean that the session has been tampered with.
"Ok, no big deal, we've done these before," Scott said.
"Good luck," Logan said as he tried to leave the room, but the door wouldn't open.
"What's going on?" Scott asked, seeing Logan struggling to get the door open.
"The doors not opening," Logan growled.
"Uh, guys," I called out as the missiles machine turned to our direction and shot forth five missiles.
"Change of plans, use your powers now," Logan said as he brought out his claws.
"With pleasure," I said.
I raised both my hands and sent a strong telekinetic wave that sent the missiles flying back to the machine, blowing it up.
Wanting to end this quickly, I created an overpowered TK Bomb and threw it at the rest of the weapons that were pointed in our direction.
The resulting blast made a shockwave that threw back Logan and Scott.
[Quest Completed!]
[Level Up!]
"Well, that was fun," I said as the other two looked back and forth between me and the half destroyed side of the Danger Room.
"Wow," Scott said.
"So, class is over, right?" I asked.
"Uh, yeah, class over. I'll stay here to see why this happened," Logan said in a gruff voice.
I left out of the hole I made and walked to my room as I thought about what the quest had said.
Who would tamper with Logan's training session? And how did they even get into the mansion?
