"Are you serious right now?" hissed Caleb, spinning around to look at Dominik. The two had left the hall with the walk-in pantry and were now crowded around the stove, Lucien ready to step in if necessary. "That is the hill you want to die on?"

"What do you mean?" hissed back Dominik as Caleb grabbed his collar.

"You just lost your shit on me over the idea that I was making decisions for our mate, and you just dismissed her as a simple server?" Caleb's eyes were wide as he tried to keep his calm. Black feathers started appearing in his hair and eyebrows.

"Am I wrong?" asked Dominik, turning to Lucien. The other wolf would support him. It's not like he was belittling Addy's job. There was nothing wrong with being a server or anything else that she wanted to be.

Sure, as part of the Silverblood pack, she now had more money than she knew what to do with, but if she wanted to remain a server, that was fine with him.
