"I'm no longer the apartment manager, so you're meeting the wrong person, Talon," Alice informed him with a calm voice.

Talon paused for a moment before responding. "I told Bob I wanted to pay the apartment rent, but he didn't respond. So, what should I do? Can I just give the money to you, Alice?"

"No, I'd probably end up spending it if you gave it to me," she joked.

"So, what should I do then?"

Alice smiled and suggested, "Who knows, maybe you should wait until I become the apartment's landlady again, then you can pay your debt." She concluded with a playful tone.

Talon nodded slowly, accepting her playful evasion.

"So, how was 'Passionate Beats'? Claire is cute…" Alice suddenly changed the topic.

"Did you follow the show?" he asked quietly.
