Bab 6: dropped

"Whoa, hold up," I commanded, tapping the driver's shoulder.

"Sure thing, boss," the driver complied, bringing the car to a halt as per my request.

I cracked open the window and peered out into the bustling streets of Adrencia's commercial district.

Here I was, smack dab in the middle of one of the city's many business hubs. With a couple of days off after snagging the weapon, I decided to split my time between training and a little side mission.

The taxi driver shot me a quizzical glance, probably wondering why we were parked in the middle of the road, but I silenced any questions with a quick hand gesture.

I wracked my brain, trying to recall the exact spot of the black market. Maestro's novel offered some vague hints, but after poring over a couple hundred chapters, I'd managed to cobble together a mental map. Still, pinpointing the exact location remained a challenge.
