"Are you deployed and have taken your position already?" Jacob asked the girl, who looked at the girl in front of her with a slight smile.

"Uhuh," Casie said.

"In that case, what do you see?" Jacob asked, putting the phone on the speaker for Maximus to hear.

"I see a couple of alphas looking at our Miss Delilah with that stalker gaze where the bad boy has fallen for the bubbly girl. And then there is this Luna sitting with her hands hooked with Miss Delilah. And Miss Delilah, well, she looks like a princess enjoying all the attention on her, especially given by Alpha Marvin," Casie said, and the more she said, the darker Maximus's eyes turned.

Jacob felt the temperature around him dropping and quickly cleared his throat.
