Bab 64: The First of the Bunch

"I underestimated his seriousness." Randolph nodded to himself as he looked at the sight in front of him.

There were a cluster of men packed together within a large studio room, either sitting or standing.

He had not only underestimated the importance Swaine gave the matter, but also his competence.

Utilizing his connections, wealth, and manpower – despite the city he was in not being his main one – he had completed the task Randolph had given him not even half a day later. Not only had he gathered the people, but he had also rented a soundproofed private room for their usage, away from the hotel.

Randolph stood silently in the room, inspecting the gathered people. Occasionally, a few of them would give him glances filled with nervousness, while the others only appeared cautious or mean.
