He tried to get up, with a heavy heart but strong determination. Lucas decided to stick to his goal. He headed west, confident that his friends would do the same.
Without food, Lucas' journey became increasingly difficult. The places he passed offered absolutely no food, there was no fruit or hunt for him to eat, and the murky river water added to his list of woes.
Lucas groaned weakly. "There's... nothing here."
The long journey left him increasingly unmotivated and extremely tired.
Lucas ignored breakfast, lunch, until nightfall, his stomach remained empty. He could even hear the sound of his stomach growling, indicating his immense hunger. Every step he took was harder, his body couldn't take it anymore. His vision began to blur and his strength was running out.
In the distance, Lucas could see a light. But his body was no longer able to survive. His consciousness faded again and he fell to the ground, collapsing on the way.
