Sarah's POV:
Jacob walked down the car and walked to me. "What happened?"
He was already stressed about the contract I signed, so there was no need to bother him. "Nothing; we will go inside now."
His gaze moved to Amber, who just smiled at him. "Did you get to try out gowns?" he asked Amber, who nodded.
"Grandma made me try out a lot of them; I was so tired."
Then he chuckled and turned to me and said, "See you tomorrow."
"Goodbye"
He walked to his car and stared at us as if expecting that we would go in before he drove out. "Come."
We walked inside when Amber asked, "Were you kissing, mother?"
My eyes almost left their sockets. For how long has she been standing by the window?
"Hey Amber, listen, okay? You don't approach strangers; you stay as far away from them as possible."
"I am sorry," she apologized.
