Whatever the princess has planned for Chris, he hasn't had the foggiest of ideas about it.

When he stated his reasons for joining the military, the princess immediately agreed to help him with that. Chris was both surprised and shocked. It was not just him but also Captain Keller who was surprised by the princess's decision.

Before he could have any ideas, the princess corrected them, "I'll allow you to have access to the resources but as you said, frontier village is not a simple thing, and not every captain has the right to claim. So when you become a captain, I'll make sure that a degree was passed so that you can get your frontier village", she said.

"Of course, I can't give them to an outsider. So the kingdom expects something in return from you", the princess clarified.

Hearing those words, the rising heart rate of Captain Keller started to slow down to a normal rate. Even she who knew Princess the best didn't see that coming.
