"No more!" Aurelia pleaded, throwing her head back, her long, silvery hair stained by sweat, as her laborious breath wheezed from the back of her throat.

Zariel couldn't be sure if she were just lazy or just frightened of her power, perhaps both. 

"Let's take a breather." He relented, distracting himself with the hourly updates with his Iris. The excavation of various deposits around the Isle of Vatar was nearing its conclusion. A day and a half later, he would know conclusively if there was any Atrium. 

Sprawled out over the grass, Aurelia tipped her gaze to Zariel. "whatcha doing?" 

"Work" 

"You're just looking into space." 

"I can do two things at once."
