Sierra pov.

I slowly opened my eyes after a deep and restful slumber. Looking around, I noticed a kind lady placing a cool, damp towel gently on my face. My vision was clearer now than when Lexi first brought her to me.

Attempting to rise, she gently held me back and urged me to stay on the bed, reminding me of my pregnancy. "Please, you need to rest. You're pregnant, and we don't want you to over-stress yourself."

I lay there, gazing up at her, wondering how Lexi had found her and brought her here. After a prolonged silence, I decided to break it, reaching out to hold the lady's hand as she met my gaze.

"How did he manage to find you, and what brought you here?" I inquired, eager to understand the circumstances. There was a moment of silence as she withdrew her hand, continuing with her task without offering an explanation.
