Bab 722: Grim Reaper

Arlen was confused on why Leo suddenly stopped running once he crossed the bridge?

If he wanted to fight, he could have done so anytime? However, stopping so abruptly made no sense to him…..

'Is he planning to cut the ropes of the bridge? Is he trying to pull some childish trick and drop me in the water?' Arlen wondered, as watching Leo stand so close to the bridge and the supporting ropes, Arlen wondered what his intentions were?

The current below the bridge was weak at best and the bridge was mostly for convenience and not necessity.

Even if he fell, it wasn't like coming ashore on the other side was particularly difficult, and hence Arlen felt even more confused by Leo's movements.

Cautious as he was, he slowed down his run and notched another arrow, as he cautiously approached Leo, one step at a time.
