Finally, at around an hour before the Arc Ship docked near Washington DC was officially scheduled to take off, the military officers holding the patrol perimeter started to retreat, as they let the perimeter surrounding the ship collapse in a mad frenzy.

Within seconds, hundreds of thousands of civilians wanting to escape Earth rushed inside the hangar bay, hoping to enter the Arc Ship, however, unfortunately for them, before a single illegal immigrant could get on board, the doors of the Arc Ship got firmly shut, as the rocket boosters kicked in.

Unlike the Arc Ship near Paris, which took off prematurely and with far fewer passengers than intended, the one in DC managed to complete approximately 80% of its boarding and departed with over 200 million people on board, with the final passengers being the military officers who had worked tirelessly to secure the perimeter over the past few days.
