Bab 120: Chapter 120: Soul Fire

The flames consumed the diary. 

Dragon Queen's eyes burned with shock as the ancient artefact turned to ashes before her very eyes. 

"What did you do?!" 

She couldn't even believe her eyes. This was the Diary of her Ancestor. They couldn't even imagine the kind of secrets it possessed. 

She quickly rushed forth and snatched the burning diary from his hand, but even her dragon skin couldn't resist the flames. 

She quickly dropped the diary, protecting her hand. There were no burn marks in her hand. It wasn't her skin that burned, but her soul the moment she came in contact with the flames. 

Instead, she tried other methods to stop the fire. She used the Dragon Tongue Magic to stop it. Unfortunately, even that couldn't stop the fire. 

It was as if the flames were inextinguishable. The flames burned brightly, but they only consumed the diary and not the floor or the surroundings.
