The Attorney General closed his notebook and looked up at Alonso. "Mr. Valois, do you have anything to say about this?"

Alonso took a deep breath, his grip on Natalie's hand stronger than a moment ago.

"I've known about those gang members tailing my wife ever since we got married. Even her uncle who used to be a policeman had been followed and threatened by them in his own apartment. I've been personally teaming up with Jack on this issue right from the start."

Her mind raced.
