While running, Quinlan turned to look up at the source of the loud explosion. There, he could see that the second barrier protecting the main hall was under attack. The barrier was a weaker version of the Great Mountain Protection Array.

Although it was "weaker," it should still be tough enough to hold back the enemy's advance. Still, due to the number of attacks, the barrier was starting to crack already.

'About three minutes at most!' Quinlan estimated the time they had before the barrier failed. 'And the activation points are five minutes away!' He added with a hint of worry.

"Xiyadie! Follow me with your fastest speed!"

They didn't have time to match each other's pace, so Quinlan kicked off the ground and took advantage of his increased physical abilities. He was equivalent to a middle Foundation Building Stage Cultivator, so Xiyadie can't catch up with him no matter how fast she runs!
