Bab 63: 63 - Importance

"Ah…this took long enough," Lucian muttered, opening his eyes once again.

He had managed to sleep for a little while they were on the way to the Southern Regions. They had crossed the path of a few monsters. But with Ariel escorting them, there hadn't been any problems as she killed all of them before they got close enough.

Lucian now understood why she wouldn't help them on their quest. They wouldn't have done anything. Even Alex admitted he wasn't anywhere close to Ariel's strength at the moment. However, while that may be true for the moment. Lucian had noticed something quite interesting coming from Alex.

The whole time they were on the bus, a strange blue energy surrounded his body. Lucian had thought of bringing up the subject. But he judged it as too early…waiting to know him better was the right option. Who knows how he might react when they would talk about his past and his cultivation?
