Bab 90: Marked by a Vampire

Beyond the enclosed mountain range of the Deadlands, the Delwyn family deployed and paid for a group of scouts and mercenaries.

Ever since Spike's report and the threats made by the Gwendelor brothers, the Delwyn family has been forced to deploy members of its own team to find the missing maidens.

The Gwendelor Brothers were seated in their tents.

The youngest, Thorn, now had his arm started to regrow thanks to the Delwyn family's compensation for hiring a specialized healer. Though the arm had not fully regrown, Thorn held a magically powered, mechanical arm that allowed him to have a fully functioning arm.

"This scrap of iron...!" Thorn complained.

"Relax. Your arm has already grown halfway. Just be patient." Spike, the middle brother, answered.

"That is not the issue, brother. You have felt it, too... The strange cold wind blowing. Something happened inside, and Pink Mist suddenly vanished!"
