Bab 86: Hopeless Situation

Lucas knew Max was looking at his live video as he spoke: "Why the need to meet me?" His voice was light but slightly excited and his eyes were nonchalantly examining the pyramid there ahead of him.

Because it was still night time, it seemed like Lucas would not be able to intrude into Max like he could to the remaining Vampire Slaves. Therefore this was the only way for the two of them to communicate at the instant.

Max didn't know how it was possible but Lucas was somehow looking back at him at the moment. "And ah ask ya where is Evelyn!" He paused and his face grew darker with every slight wait he waited.

Sounding frustrated, Max yelled at the hologram: "Stupidity back bone or what should we make out of ya taking me to a so-called breeding island!" He clutched his brown hair in his two fists. This moment alone was already a sorry situation that could make him go crazy.
