Bab 117: The same tattoo

There were two ambulances called at Zhang Luqi's apartment. One was for Lim and Jia and the other for the three goons. Lim was placed on a stretcher as the nurses swiftly took control of the situation. What they couldn't digest were the three dead men, especially the one with a syringe sticking out of his left eye.

Calm down. We have seen worse. Yes, we have seen worse.

Jia's tense shoulders finally loosened up seeing Lim safely taken away in the ambulance. One of the nurses came to her and politely said, "Mam, let me help you."

"Do I really need to be admitted too?"

She smiled. "Yes Mam. It's important we understand the severity of your injury. Important ligaments could be affected. It could affect your ability to walk."

"Couldn't it be just a sprain?"

"I don't see it as just an innocent sprain seeing how you really need support with your walking."

Jia sighed.
