Mingshen entered the ward only to be amused looking at Anhe holding a hand mirror who was busy setting her hair.

"You seem very relaxed for someone who was almost murdered a few hours back."

"I don't have to worry about anything anymore, right? Dad and that Inspector will take care of it. Jinping and Yong are done for."

For the time being, she was kept unaware of Aang's potential involvement.

Anhe asked, "Can I use your phone?"

"Why?"

"I want to take a selfie and make a post."

"What will that achieve for you?"

"Pity. Sympathy. That bruise must look so ugly on my forehead," she looked at the dressing wrapped around her head in the mirror, gritting her teeth with indignation. "It takes so much effort to keep yourself pretty and then this happens…"

She looked up at Mingshen, dazzled by his roguish elegance. She felt a momentary loss of speech.
