'Where am I? What is this?' he asked himself as he looked around, baffled by what he saw.

One second, he was walking around the temple, cursing his competitor about how capable he was.

To think that at his age, Ami managed to build such an exquisite temple, worth billions of Dynalis dollars if the temple was to be assessed for its worth and all this was for Zara, he felt jealous.

If he were to look at everything closely, he wouldn't have done much for Zara at all. She was the one who picked him when he didn't have anywhere to go. She gave him a home and raised him literally.

If she didn't care for him, they wouldn't have bothered that much about him. Because of her trust and dedication towards him, he found it worth sacrificing his future, and becoming part of the guards, to take care of Zara until her dying breath.
