Bab 63: CHAPTER 63: HARD PILL TO SWALLOW

Quinn was at a loss. The more he listened to what Zara was saying, the more he found his state laughable.

Of course, with time, it seemed that he had forgotten his position by her side. Because he spoiled her and let him have everything he wanted. He had forgotten about the very important and small things and things that should have been remembered seriously.

But his complacency and confidence that he had it in the bag made him forget that Zara, despite being sick, wasn't an idiot.

How could he have forgotten about that?

"I am sorry. I don't have any words to say to defend myself. Just punish me as you wish!" he could only say that apologetically, afraid that if he were to spill what was in his heart, something bad might happen.

Zara looked at Quinn, who was obviously doing his best to sweep the issue under the rag. Talking nonstop like that for minutes made her throat die and her heart was thumping and racing abnormally.
