Bab 373: Before the Dragon Boat Festival

In the following days leading up to the Dragon Boat Festivals, the atmosphere at Graceville Manor was generally peaceful.

Leslie focused on her rehab sessions while not neglecting Calliope. Sometimes, the little one accompanied her in the gym-turned-rehab in the basement.

Calix was busier at work before the public holiday started, including his upcoming business trip. He felt Edward's absence because the other assistants were not as efficient as the younger man.

At the same time, Calix had to deal with Old Madam Li. The matriarch wanted to invite him to the Li family's ancestral home for the festival yet, she didn't receive a satisfactory answer from her grandson-in-law.

"I'll come to visit you next week, Grandmother-in-law. I'll be busy with my family."

"Why don't we have two families meeting? I'd love to meet your grandmother and parents. You haven't visited me in a long time ah."
